Donations - Help us Build an Access Ramp

The Great Western Society have operated at Didcot Railway Centre since the early 60's and until now, access has been via the original subway and steps up onto site - the same way they would have come to work in the days of steam. Whilst we have operated this way for many years, we have always been conscious of the need to provide access to those less able to manage the stairs.

After many years of trying, we have finally been granted permission to build an access ramp, meaning that we will be much more accessible to those less able, and families with pushchairs.

This is where we need your help. We are seeking to raise money to help us with this project. work is due to start shortly. Anything that you can spare will help us with this really important project.

Donations start at just £10.

Just another brick in the wall? A donation of £500 will see you immortalised in our wall with your own personal brick and create an everlasting memory for years to come.
